Sceptre’s history

Collection

Sceptre sits within the Rural Municipality of Clinworth No. 230 in southwestern Saskatchewan. It incorporated as a village on 30 April 1913 and held that status for just under a century and a decade, until the start of 2023. On 1 January of that year it restructured, giving up village status to become a special service area under the jurisdiction of the Rural Municipality of Clinworth.
